OSMIS Doncaster
Alternative Provision and Inclusion Support in Doncaster
OSMIS Doncaster provides mentoring, inclusion support and Alternative Provision for children and young people who may need a different approach to learning, confidence and personal development.

Our Doncaster provision is designed to support pupils through trusted relationships, structured activities and personalised programmes that help them feel safe, understood and ready to make progress.

Supporting Young People in Doncaster
We work with children and young people who may be experiencing difficulties with school engagement, confidence, emotional regulation, communication, social interaction or additional learning needs.

Each young person is supported as an individual. Our team works closely with schools, families and referring partners to understand what support is needed and how we can help each young person move towards a positive next step.
Working With Helping Hands Community Centre
OSMIS Doncaster runs in collaboration with Helping Hands Community Centre, a well-established community organisation based in Edlington.

Since 2002, Helping Hands has supported the local community through services focused on wellbeing, family support, employment, health and partnership working. Their strong community presence makes them an ideal partner for helping young people access support in a welcoming and trusted local setting.
1 to 1 and Small Group Support
At the Doncaster site, OSMIS provides 1 to 1 Alternative Provision and small group interventions for pupils who benefit from focused support outside of a traditional classroom environment.

These sessions are designed to help young people build confidence, develop emotional literacy, improve communication and strengthen positive attitudes towards learning.
Reintegration and Community Links
OSMIS Doncaster supports pupils with reintegration, helping young people work towards returning to school, moving into specialist provision or accessing the most appropriate education pathway

Through our work with Helping Hands Community Centre, we also aim to develop strong community links that support social interaction, communication skills and a greater sense of belonging.

Ofsted Registered Provision
OSMIS is Ofsted registered, giving schools, families and care partners confidence that our provision is delivered within a safe, professional and well-managed environment.

Our team works with care, consistency and clear safeguarding practice to support children and young people across our services. Whether a young person is accessing mentoring, inclusion support, Alternative Provision or childcare, we aim to provide a setting where they feel understood, respected and able to make positive progress.
