OSMIS was pleased to attend The Charity Hub networking event at Castle Park, home of Doncaster Knights, on Thursday 9th July.

Andy attended on behalf of OSMIS to meet other organisations, build connections and talk about the work OSMIS does to support children, young people, schools and care partners across South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
The Charity Hub began in Doncaster with a clear mission to strengthen and support the third sector. Through regular networking events, training opportunities and shared resources, it brings together charities, non-profit groups, professionals and volunteers who are working to make a difference in their communities.
For OSMIS, the event was a valuable opportunity to speak with others about how the organisation started, how it has grown and the support it now provides through mentoring, inclusion services and Alternative Provision.
OSMIS works with young people who may need a different approach to learning, confidence and personal development. Through trusted relationships, structured support and close work with schools and care partners, the team helps young people build confidence, develop emotional literacy and move towards positive next steps.
Events like this are important because strong partnerships can create better opportunities for children, young people and families. By meeting other organisations, sharing experiences and discussing future needs, OSMIS can continue to build the community links that help young people access the right support at the right time.
OSMIS would like to thank The Charity Hub for hosting the event and for continuing to create space for charities, community groups and organisations to connect, collaborate and support one another.
